This September 2026 refresh adds four processors that were missing from the CPU Wiki catalog: two Apple desktop SoCs and two Qualcomm edge-computing SoCs. The legacy CSV remains unchanged; the new records live in the official supplemental layer so their vendor sources stay visible.
What was added?
- Apple M6 12 Core — a 12-core, 2 nm Apple Silicon desktop SoC with a 12-core GPU, dual 16-core Neural Engine, and up to 170 GB/s of unified-memory bandwidth.
- Apple M5 Ultra 36 Core — a workstation-class SoC with up to 36 CPU cores, 80 GPU cores, 512 GB of unified memory, and 1.2 TB/s of bandwidth.
- Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-2390 — a commercial edge processor with one Cortex-A78 core, three Cortex-A55 cores, 1.1 TOPS of AI compute, and integrated connectivity.
- Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-2390 — an industrial counterpart with ECC memory protection, -30°C to 115°C operation, deterministic networking, and 10-year supply longevity.
Why these records matter
The Apple additions improve coverage for current compact desktops and Mac Studio-class workstations. The Qualcomm records cover a different search need: embedded CPUs are often chosen by operating environment, I/O, software support, and product lifetime rather than by benchmark score alone.
